In "Devon," the sequel to "The Great Connection" we once again meet up with Bob Hathaway. In doing so we get to see Bob weave his magic in bringing light to the lives of several people going through some difficult situations while re-igniting his own passion for living after suffering through a very unfortunate event.
An interesting element is that the author also interweaves grammar and presentation lessons into the story. I found myself getting some good tips while simply enjoying an excellent story.
While this is a book that will make you feel good while learning lessons about life, living your passion, and dealing with difficult people, it also has some interesting plot twists. And, it has a very happy ending.
Funny; as I was reading at the table in a restaurant, a waitperson came by and said, "Looks like you're really enjoying that book." I then realized that, while I was reading, I had a big smile on my face.
Now THAT's a good book!!"
